Iman Mostafa Kamel is the founder and managing director of Hazel Farm which introduced the “Agritainment” concept that combines farming with entertainment. Through Hazel Farm, she aims at raising awareness about the importance of organic food, mindful eating and being in touch with nature and taking care of the environment, by opening the farm to public visits and involving the guests in the farm process. Iman has 8 years of experience in International organizations namely the ILO and GIZ working on different activities including green jobs, waste management, youth employment, entrepreneurship and promotion of technical education. 

Marwa Hussein is the director of the Agriculture and Natural Resources Program at CARE International in Egypt. As part of her role, Marwa is responsible for leading and managing the implementation of CARE's strategy for the development of the agriculture sector in Egypt. She manages and monitors relations with donors, sector key stakeholders and government authorities. Marwa joined CARE in March 2019 to support the organization's growing agriculture development portfolio where she found her passion in working with small farmers specially females and allow them to have equal opportunity as big farms in the market.

Athar Diab, a wife and mother of two, owns a flower shop in Banha, Qalyubia Governorate, and works as an inspector at the Ministry of Antiquities. Passionate about plants and flowers, she dreamed of studying agriculture but couldn't. However, she fulfilled her dream of planting and teaching gardening seven years ago.Athar owns a flower and vegetable farm, selling her produce at her shop. Balancing her job as an antiquities inspector, managing her farm, and caring for her children was challenging. Despite the mental pressure, she found comfort intending to her plants.Three years ago, she launched the Free Agricultural Day initiative, offering free training in her garden to women, girls, and children. She teaches them to grow vegetables and fruits at home, care for plants, and guides them in pruning, fertilizing, propagating, and planting seedlings like lemon, cucumber, and tomato.

She graduated from civil engineering, Alexandria University. She has over 30 years of extensive experience in construction management in many industries.She has worked in different infrastructure types of projects in whole EGYPT area such as Toshka, Sinai, North Coast. Moreover, she has operation and maintenance experience of golf courses and public landscape for over 4,000,000 m2. She managed the operation and maintenance of malls, retails, floating restaurants, beaches, landscape, desalination plants, pools, lagoons, roads, public lighting and residential buildings and villas. She is currently the CEO for Jinet landscape and services consultancy, landscape, and water feature construction company that offers comprehensive landscaping services to commercial and residential projects across Egypt. Reham Salah Eldin Youssef Gad, CEO & GM Fruiticana (Dana Farms), with over twenty-five years of experience in the fresh produce business, Fruiticana grows and exports premium quality fruits to some of the largest retailers in Germany, UK, Netherlands, through specialized exporters. They produce a wide range of products including table grapes, peaches, mangoes, oranges, tangerines and apricots.
Their strategy is to grow high quality products while partnering with local wholesalers or retailers as well as exporters to complete their distribution cycle. Recently, Fruiticana built its own packing house, further strengthening its export focus

Nihal Abdel Ghaffar is the Co-owner of “Atfa” Plantation, and Founder and CEO of “Accretive Co for Agriculture SAE” With two decades of experience spanning banking, finance, strategy, and agriculture, Nihal transitioned from corporate banker in a global bank to agriculture. Leveraging her 15 years in finance and banking, she successfully revitalized a struggling date palm orchard. Her focus has since evolved from improving her farm to restructuring the fruit value chain, aiming to ensure fair compensation for farmers and owners who face risks and make investments.

Mona is a champion of women's empowerment in Upper Egypt. In 2008, she worked in the development sector with many Egyptian associations, institutions and international bodies in women's economic empowerment in Beni Suef Governorate.She joined CARE International in 2016 to work as a project supervisor, to support fish vendors through savings and loan groups, educating women about finances and social empowerment, as well as supporting many fish farming associations, to improve the production of fish farms located in Wadi El Rayan in Fayoum. She is currently working on "Haya Karima" project.

Dr. Fatima AlZahraa Mohamed, the founder of A Tree for Every Family Initiative & Abofasada app for consultation and farm management for small and medium farms. Her journey in agriculture began in the heart of her family garden, where her mother cultivated fresh vegetables with love and care for their kitchen table. In 2019, she founded Abofasada, a mobile app. With an understanding of the importance of guidance came the idea of Abofasada as a sustainable solutions consultant; a mobile app offering consultation and farm management for small and medium farms.


Mrs. Dorra Fiani is the founder and president of Knowledge Economy Foundation, Egyptian NGO specialized in the nexus water food energy with focus on digital agriculture and participation to multi-stakeholder rural development consortiums in Egypt and Africa, such as EU Led LEAP4FNSSA and FS4Africa projects. Pioneering since 2015 Bashaier Platform, the first digital agribusiness extension services and marketplace platform, focused on value chain strategies and inclusive small farmers’ approaches, together with an agribusiness entrepreneurship digital platform. International multi-disciplinary expert, with 30+ years’ experience in managing her own company and establishing foreign subsidiaries in Egypt, together with extensive links to European markets.
